Privacy Policy

How this website handles the information you share with us.

This policy describes how The Adam Sanders Law Office, PLLC ("the firm," "we") handles information collected through www.taxbytaslo.com. It was last updated in October 2026.

Information you provide

The contact form on this site asks for your name, email address, telephone number, the general nature of your tax issue, and a description of your situation. The form does not transmit this information to a server operated by the firm. When you submit it, your own email application opens a pre-addressed message to the firm containing what you entered; nothing is sent until you choose to send that email. We use the information you send to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to represent you.

Please do not include Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers in a website inquiry. We will ask for what we need, through a secure channel, once we are working together.

Information collected automatically

This website is a static site hosted by Netlify, Inc. Like most web hosts, Netlify may log standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request, for the purpose of operating and securing the service. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on this site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when the font files are requested.

How we use and share information

We use information you provide to respond to you and to provide legal services. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating the firm (for example, email and document-storage providers) under obligations of confidentiality, and as required by law or court order. Information you provide as a client is additionally protected by the attorney's professional duty of confidentiality and, where applicable, by attorney-client privilege.

Attorney-client relationship

Submitting an inquiry through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship is formed only by a written engagement agreement signed by the firm. Until then, please do not send confidential information you would not want disclosed. Information sent before an engagement is accepted will be treated with discretion, but may not be privileged.

Data retention and security

We retain inquiry emails for a reasonable period to respond and to maintain conflict-of-interest records, and client files in accordance with our professional obligations under the New York Rules of Professional Conduct. We take reasonable measures to protect information in our possession, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children

This website is directed to adults and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your choices and contact

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to request correction, or to ask that it be deleted, subject to our legal and professional retention obligations. Direct requests to adam@taslopllc.com or to 445 Central Avenue, Suite 327, Cedarhurst, New York 11516.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page.

The IRS has a process. So do we.

Every matter begins with a no-charge review of your notices and transcripts. You will leave that conversation knowing where you stand and what we recommend — whether or not you retain us.
